Z man, The Company i work for machines their own parts. When the part comes out of the machine they use scotchbrite (or just go and get a 3 pack of scotchbrite sponges at walmart. We have a few of those laying around in back) to remove the "swirl" marks from machining. I just asked one of the machinists, try using scochbrite with a little bit of multipurpose oil to remove the swirl marks and line then use the fine sandpaper and polish to complete.

 

Thanks, it's not swril marks though, it's actual marks with a score of some sort, to mark the positioning of the holes.

Because I have an autotragic. I plan on doing a swap next winter. Wanted to help out with this group buy.

 

Allthough I ordered mine polished I went ahead and wet sanded it 6,8,1000,1500, and polished half of it and left the other side brushed. Now i can't figure out which one i like better.

 

^^^ lol, that is easy bud, just buy a unpolished one and you will have both looks. unless you are going for that" harvey corman two face batman theme" in your car, roflz.

john, i figured romeo was a buddy of yours since he was from the same town and whatnot, thanks for the info.

Merlin told me this weekend that he will make more after these eight and sold out. basically use the same chunk of pipe for these exclusively until he doesnt have any of the pipe left.

I have recieved the screws this morning! Thanks very much lee!! It looks beautiful. This is probably my favorite gb of all. I will have installed pics tomorrow after the paint drys from my surround.
