Yeah, for 40 bucks it's a thicker "Phenolic Spacer", and not a gasket. Let me email that guy again and tell him I'm gonna start it.

*EDIT:*

Okay, emailed the other guy on the deal, he should be back to me shortly.

They lengthen the intake runners and increase air velocity into the head, increasing power. They also almost CANCEL the heat transfer between the block and the IM, vastly reducing the intake temperatures and increasing power. Results are usally around 5% and much more throttle responce, not to mention, drops of intake temps around 75 to 100 Degrees.

On the bad side, depending on the thickness of the spacer, you may have to put in new studs.

REDZ, I have been interested in the Airram IM from kspec.

w/ the phenolic spacer would the IM be pushed back enough to clear a motoria (AOS) Front strut bar?? I know there have been clearance issues w/ it.

the spacer, IM and matched TB will prob be my next HP mods if so.

Hmm...

Good question. I guess I'd have to see where the IM and the Strut bar are in relation to eachother first.

The Motoria SB should fit over the Airram IM.
