Why do I keep missing all the good threads? I would love an exhaust, but So far I've had not so good experiences with pre-buys. I will be buying one after they start running. I promise! tongue.gif

 

Please get this project funded by a company so production can start soon. I don't think very many people like the idea of paying $250 and then waiting at least two months to find out that they have to pay $100 more for a product they didn't want in the first place. I say take the idea of a straight through 2.5 inch pipe that comes with an option for a bunch of mufflers to a company and they will jump on it. Yea it'll take longer to make if they fund it but you will have more response for a part that is already in the process of being made than just throwin out ideas. I know I'd buy one as soon as i saw what it'll look like.

 

^exactly. you have to find some way to get these in production. you have LOTS of buyers here. i'd say about 15 up to 20 if you really worked hard at it and the exhaust was made and looked good.

rdtiburon people aren't at all much for putting down production deposits. we all learned that the hard way. i'm not saying it's not possible for everyone to do that, i'm just saying we're the shelve grabbers.

this isn't the first time this has happened. when opportunities like this come up, there is always someone giving some sort of warning stating something like, "i'll be in as soon as they're made" but there is never a warning saying "this isn't going to work".

i guess what i'm trying to say is, this is an aged community with little to no aftermarket and one thing is wrong--everything ages except for our passion for our cars. we need to be spoon fed.
