I think I can say with certainty that the HKS are not going to be too much harder then the Eibachs...

I think that most of you guys would be fine with a 350fr 275 Rr spring rate with a 1.2 " drop for the front and back.. Coupled with either some konis or KYB AGXs it should make for a well handling car.
For the Sentra the AGXs are very popular and right now I am running a test set of these springs on AGXs and it handles amazing.

350 in the front seems nice, but I think 275 would be too low for the rear and would cause understeer. Maybe bumping it up to 325, and maybe having an option for 500's.

Here's a calculator for figuring what the car needs: http://www.mckinneyraceworks.com/catalog/i...a3bd#SpringRate

BTW Redz, your springs are discontinued and the people at HKSUSA didn't even know they existed. lmao.gif
I had to give them a part number to find them, and even then they didn't know any specs on them.

ok 375 front and 325 rear is something we can do, however to add the option of 500 for the rear would require either enough interest or a significant bump up in price.

Is this a one time shot group buy, or are you going to sell them afterwards?

and if you can prove me wrong, I'd love to help get some moved for you as well through my website. Also, I've had a conversation with a guy who does LOTS of Kia parts. I think we should have a talk with him about the desire for aftermarket springs. He sells headers, cams, exhausts, etc. For his headers, he has to buy 70 of them to get his good price, and he's makings several thousand in sales every month. I think that might be the market to conquer right there. I'll PM you when I get a chance to speak with him about springs and how fast he could move them.

I'd just hate to see your efforts here be used to get maybe 10-20 springs sets sold max, but hey, if you can make the money selling other sets then it shouldn't be a prob if the Tibby springs dont sell like hotcakes!

I don't mind wasting the time as long as I at least break even...but I will contact you through PM later tonight or tommorow when I have some time, and we will discuss stuff....or if you have free long distance you can give me a call at any time tonight 443 536 6728, because as it is looking now, I think I have enough interest to get things rolling, and we've already determined that these springs will in fact be better then what the other "tuner" companies are offering.
just shoot me a call, and thank you.

I'll definately be in for a set once everything gets rolling. One thing I've learned from years on car forums is I'd rather pay 10% more or whatever once everything gets set up then go through the pain in the ass called a group buy.
