^^thanks tanc, you da man.

Chris, where the hell is my refund mang?

You owe me a refund for my Equal Length Header funds I sent you
AND
a Genius Front bumper
The tailights I BOUGHT you I am just going to write off... keep em'

I'M GOING TO MAKE THIS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR YOU. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT SCREW THIS ONE UP. IT'S GOING TO BE RIDICULOUS EASY..

send me a set of equal length headers and downpipe/flex pipe (whatever you are including with it). Like tomorrow please, I'd like to get my tib running again..
You've sent me $47.10 via Paypal 2 months ago, send me another $450 and you can just keep the Genius Bumper, how 'bout them apples?

it's not that f***in' hard. I bet you anything if I showed up to your front door in a Ferrari with 2 miles on the clock and keys in hand ready to sell it to you for $1000 because I'm just bored of driving it... You'd MAGICALLY have $1000 in 30 effin' seconds. I guaran-f***in'-tee it. THAT'S what pisses me off the most about this shit, I wish I could find a way to make this important enough for you to take the time and find a way to pay your damn debt off other than asking nicely.

I KNOW you can send me the headers tomorrow, so why don't we please do that and at least get you halfway to a clean slate with me.
Tell ya what, send the $450 to me at the same time and I'll refund you back $100 just for cleaning your IOU with me. HOW MUCH EASIER CAN I MAKE IT?

Do those TWO SIMPLE THINGS and clean your bill with me mister, ...if we're not cool by the end of this month I will be taking a trip to LA and camping my ass outside your shop just to annoy the living hell out of you. and if you're not there I'll get a taxi to your house and bother you there (you still in Fontana?) See, Horizon Air starts a one-way service between Prescott and LA in the next couple weeks, so I won't even need to drive to Phoenix to catch a flight to come bother your ass for my damn refund...
cool.gif

thanks Chris.
call me if you need my address

bump for Chris cause I know he's on the site from time to time...

CHRIS!,

Think about this REAL EFFIN HARD. Take advantage of this offer I'm giving you to clean the slate with me. Think about these things...
I'm not even asking for the tailights (or money) I sent you and you decided to keep....
I'm not even asking for the difference in price between the headers now and what I paid for them back in 06....
I'm not asking for interest or anything extra for having to wait 2.5 (wait, is it three now?) years....

AND

(big AND)
I'm going to REFUND YOU $100 just for cleaning the slate with me. All you have to do is send me a set of equal length headers and paypal me $450 for the Genius Bumper...

THAT's IT! So total out of pocket for you will be $350, just do it MANG! Once you do I will be MORE than happy to rep your companby your brands and your website..

But until then, things could get real 'effin nasty..

(Admins, any advice?) plz PM..

Hopefully he sees this. I would think he has things just about figured out with getting refunds out. At least he made it sound like he was close when I last talked to him. I havent seen him here in a while though. Im going to assume youve tried to call? That was the best way I found to get a hold of him.

Still staff, Chris, and Pat only in here, please. Hopefully Chris will stop by and give us a good update.

Pat,
If he is true to his word then things should be looking up for you. My investment in should be 1/2 of your slate clean. If true to his word (and e-mail) you should have a set soon.

Mods,
I wanted to show hope for Pat and Flyryde. I have the e-mail to prove it as well.

I have no idea what you are talking about Bullfrog, but OK. This was posted here earlier. Chris also was on here today and made a for sale post. I can only imagine that money will be put towards refunds and all that. Looks like this will finally be wrapped up and Flyryde can move forward. Hopefully Chris will still support us as he always have.

From NewTiburon.com:

QUOTE (LuvMyTib @ Jul 31 2008, 01:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

FlyRyde will not be taking orders temporarily Today, 09:03 AM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to long overdue orders, or refunds that FlyRyde owes to some member here, and on RDTiburon.com, we're going to focus 100% of our efforts to THEM, which means we'll be suspending sales until we feel confident in our progress.

This means lots of money lost for FlyRyde, but its to show in good faith, our commitment to the customers who have waited on us, while we're taking care of other new orders. If you are a newer customer, and you want to order something, dont worry too much. This suspension of sales, is not going to be a long one. If anything, rest assured that the company is undergoing an update of our website, to ensure streamlined ordering when its back up, and no more company onslaughts brought about by overdue orders.

Unfortunately, not everything went so smoothly with this company after we started really developing our software. Time devoted to development takes away from time posting on forums, answering calls, emails, PMs, etc. So for now, we're going to make sure that we handle the obvious issues. There are two of them. 1. overdue orders/projects 2. software

The first of these issues stemmed from production costs from new products that ate up any profit, and therefore any cushion of money incase of problems. When problems arose, nice and simple, we were screwed. This happened with the CF Hatch, as well as the CF Diffuser. Both of which are now available, yet, 3 diffusers are still owed to the first customers, and time and time again, the CF hatch has problems in sales because we dont keep them on hand. We're fixing this issue by getting at least one or two pieces in stock for all CF FlyRyde products, such as the eyelines, hatches, diffusers, etc.

The second issue is actually the biggest issue of all. To understand the weight of this single issue, you first need to know about why we're here on the forums, and why we're making products for Tiburons in the first place. Tiburons are were it all started for FlyRyde, and as the company began to mature we saw the potential of the overall market, selling parts for Acura, Honda, Nissan, Mitsu, Scion, Toyota, etc. In order for us to be confident in any kind of marketing strategy, sales, customer service etc. we knew we'd need a killer system in place. So during the past 4 years, while we've been on the forums, and dealing directly with you guys, we've been building the real company in the background. The company that operates streamlined through our software that we developed ourselves from the ground up. So any parts made, or products sold while we've been here on the forums, has really just been something to make at least a TINY bit of money to keep things moving.

By no means was THIS ever the plan, to be working hour after hour to go back and forth with each customer 4 or 5 times before their order was placed with our suppliers, or manufactured by FlyRyde. It has been a very neccessary, and very integral part of the future of FlyRyde, but never has it been the whole picture. During this time of growing pains, there have also been a few hard blows to the company when manufacturing had set backs, long delays, and even defects. Also, when companies that supplied us either stole money, gave bad info, or even flat out went out of business, we were left to pick up the pieces, which has showed with issues we had with companies like Hotshot Headers, or Sun Automobile.

Knowing that this time of development was only temporary, you should also know, that we've completed 95% of the software, and are at least loading up what we have completed for now. And meanwhile, the issues that we've caused here, or screwed up on flat out, we're taking very seriously, making moves at any cost to make right any wrongs we've caused, and until we're satisfied with some big progress on that, we're just not going to be taking orders. This frees up lots of time to just handle the little beasties we've created, till they're all gone. At the same time, FlyRyde's database is being poured into with products for every make and model car you can imagine. New companies are being added up, and we'll be ready to really START the company, in the coming months. We'll of course still help out the Hyundai and Kia crowd, as very few companies do, but we'll have the source of working capital we need to really move forward.

So by far, we're not down and out, but in our temporary stage of development on our software, we just need to clean house a bit. We'll be back shoving amazing deals down your throat in no time, so dont worry, and plus we'll be fueling the community at least by our monthly contribution to NT.com. If you have a question, go ahead and just PM or post in our forums like normal.

Thanks everyone!
