The thing I feel the worst about, is that I didn't even take the time to call you back Jeremy. That doesn't do anything but force you to think poorly of me. That being said, its a mess that ITZ caused, and I'm fixing for you. I have called them everytime I hear a message from you. Finally I got them to give me a solution, and it was while I was in a chitty motel room in Vegas last week. I blew it and didn't call you the next day. I hit up ABQ in a response to his PM and filled him in.
Anyway, at this point, I'll have no problem with keeping my sales here haulted until the Evo hoods are received. I still have no RD2 cowl, so I'll keep pushing forward on that. Here's something to think about though guys. While it sounds like I'm some bashful pushover with ITZ, what reason do they have to care? Think about it. I run FlyRyde, and purchase almost 0 parts unless they're FlyRyde parts from them. Even the FlyRyde parts I barely sell any of. All in all, ITZ couldn't have seen more than 10-15,000 dollars out of me in the last few years man. Other vendors do that in a month. So if I pull my nuts out and slap em on the table, they'll basically look at me and say, "Bro, get your nuts off the table, you know how little money this makes us?"
Do you realize, that if a different manufacturer made this hood for us, that you'd have to cough up 10,000 grand to get the first 25 hoods made? Do you guys have 10,000? I dont. What I have, is a connection I use to make you guys new parts. I took a year, and 5 guys cash (all of 1500.00) which equals about my COST on these hoods. So after a year, I have zero profit to work with, I barely have my hood, and now I find out its twice as much at my cost. WTF am I supposed to do? You know you guys get mad at the fact that other forums, and by that I mean ONE other forum, NT.com, gets my attention and my business over there. They have had their fair share of trouble with parts taking too long, but once they got what they wanted, they all became my new best friends. I have 3 guys over there right now who paid for a CF Diffuser, and its been paid for, for a year. They're pissed, and just want what they paid for. Both the Diffuser, and the RD2 Evo hood, were the last projects I took money for up front before making a product. THATS THE ONLY THING I'VE CHANGED and its made life waaaaay easier. I just dont take cash up front, and everyone friggin loves me. The whole thing is that your average dude will never understand what it takes to release new products. Shoot, I DIDN'T realize this, and when I started out I was making new stuff. I still didn't understand it.
Here's what is GOING to happen here everyone. I get my last paycheck tomorrow. I send ALL of my hard earned cash to ITZ to pay the extra money. ITZ makes the hoods, ships them, and everyone here gets what they paid for. I then move on to the other members who have paid for Cowls. I take care of that project and get the gears turning, then I take every last penny I can, and pay off the last couple people I owe any money to. How I plan to make these payments and refunds, will be a combination of my new sales on FlyRyde, which has been down not accepting payments for 4 months now, and also from any new sales on new products like the headers.
So, figure I sell 20 headers, that's 2000 dollars to pay to get a mold and a bunch of cowls. Figure FlyRyde.com bring in maybe another 2000 in a month from regular sales, and that money goes to paying off the last debts I have to memebers here. I dont need to make money on RDT to take care of the problems I created here. But I do need NT.com to keep going. I've been through all of this with them, and had Mods contacting me saying WTF? I ended up taking out a fat loan, that I now pay on every month, and I barely got 90% of the issues on NT.com taken care of. The loan was for 5000.
Keep in mind, my new software company gets to go crazy now, since the new asp.NET website is up running off SQL database. I have a starting package with my software for 15,000 dollars, and about 10 companies looking at it right now. Do you realize, that ONE sale of my software will not only put money in my pocket, but take care of every penny of debt left with FlyRyde, AND pay for some new products to be made??? Meanwhile, I'm about to have the number one retail/wholesale website in the INDUSTRY, and here I am drowning in a couple grand of debt on RDTiburon.com. If this was all I had to show for myself, I'd be screwed. If I had to somehow make even the 4 grand from sales one by one, 20, 30 bucks at a time, I'd be for sure doomed to going out of business. But that was NEVER the plan, and making tiburon parts was all just part of getting my feet wet in business, screwing up, learning huge lessons, moving forward, getting stronger, etc. Imagine if I had never learned these lessons, and all the sudden I'm juggling 30,000 in orders per month like a lot of websites do. I'd have PLENTY more of a mess than anything you guys have seen even close to over here. And those people wouldn't know me or care about my hardships like you all have.
I know I made mistakes guys, but I did things the right way, with the right group of people. It just sucks that while the rollercoaster is on a dip, most of you guys think my business is bad news and its time to kick me out, while when the coaster is on a high, everyone wants a deal, or a sponsorship, or to help me make new parts, and on and on. THAT is what you can bet your asses on happening. Not me going out of business, but me being the stupid hero again when everyone has what they want. The sad thing is, in our community, the only thing you have to do to have booming sales, is sell cheap. Tons of people sacrifice any concern for better business when they see a cheap price on something and they want it. Its all greed when its all said and done. So I've dropped my prices, followed the path of a successful Kia parts retailer, and I have a part coming out that set HIS company on fire when he put out his first header. I have all my ducks lined up, and whether people get mad that I lowered pricing or not, its the formula for making everyone forget about the hard times.
Is there anything else you guys want to know about? We're obviously going to have to split this topic anyway right now. But does anyone want any extra info that they have an urgent need to know about me? I just quit the family company after over a year and a half enjoying benefits to keep me and my wife secure. I left to dedicate myself to my software that just came out, and to focus on what I really care about. For 4 months I've lived out of a suitecase in Vegas setting up and running a showroom for the company. THEY HATED when I spent any time doing something other than sales and imaging for the company, but I managed to do some forum work and ebay postings anyway. As of Monday, I drove 3 hours to Vegas, they pushed me one last time too hard, and I packed up 2 hours before the end of the day and drove 3 hours home. Now I have time to get my cars fixed, drop off the RD2 for Widebody treatment, get the race car ready to go, and spend some time on the forums. I dont know guys, at this point with a magnifying glass over me, just tell me what you want to know, and I'll spill the beans. I'm not hiding anything...

We understand how it all works man, and the issue with ABQElantra's BUmper isn't YOUR fault. It's ITZ's. but you are the seller, they DID ship the wrong one, but they said they'd ship the right one when it was made, but here we are, months later, and NO resolution to the problem, they are ignoring my emails, and the calls to them directly will begin today. So if it falls through there, the only other person to talk to is you.
As for theother parts, you have to see how it looks from everyone else's eyes. It's like you are stealing from Peter to pay Paul. Forget ITZ man, it's MORE than that. It's VDI kits from what, 2 years ago? It's finishing this other header shit off before starting new ones.
What tripped the switch is you are trying to PRESELL something again, with what, maybe $10,000 of outstanding issues still? We went through it before, and it's just tiresome.
Unfortunately, folks will be buying less and less from you, which will make it all worse, until the problems are fixed, and VERIFIED. After that, sales will go back up, slowly, but they will.
In the meantime, these 14000 word posts that really say little other than excuses and pleas for more time are worthless. Please re-read my last post, a CONCRETE solution needs to be submitted, in public here, ASAP, or we will have no other choice but to affect your sales elsewhere. It may put you out of business totally, and that would be a shame, and plenty of members would just be screwed out of their money in the long run, but it's better than dragging this out for 4 more years.

Chris,
since you are not answering your other thread about this hood I will put it in here, you charged me 715 bucks for the hood and shipping. i was cool with that at the time. then you come on that thread and said only one person (me ) has bought a CF hood and you found out you got a deal or something like where it was 65 dollars cheaper. instead of saying "i'm going to refund the guy that PAID IN FULL for this cf hood (i bought this only cause i read it was in production, not a pipe dream) the 65 dollars or offer him something else. you tell EVERYONE in the other thread you WILL be using that money to pay off other bills?
I'm not your "Daddy Warbucks" in terms of helping you pay off back debts. you also told me i would be getting a shipping number the following friday from when i ordered. well, that "friday" is coming up 3 weeks late. I'm not calling you, I have paid you! you call me at 785-456-8885 until 3pm CST or 785-456-9531 after 3pm CST and GIVE ME A FULL STATUS ON WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MY HOOD.
you gave me a lame excuse when i ordered my angel eyes and vent halos from you that were 3 weeks late and i knuckled down and gave you another shot. I want this hood. I want it really badly, I have paid for this hood. you have a CF hood built already, send me that one since everyone else is buying the FG one.

why don't you just forget the CF cowl and refund everybody. we've shown our support and it got channeled through the swampy depths of other peoples pleasures?
you made the ultimate mistake and we should have seen it coming. we suggested your first projects to make you money but that obviously didn't happen. you kept postponing everything and everyone's really tired of it. God be with whoever buys something from your ebay, probably some poor non-english speaking girlfriendless teenager from the Phillippines who think his tiburon is the shit and his order is stuck somewhere in Australian customs. lmao.gif
check the recieved or refunded thread. people will start popping up to help you sort this crap out. recieved or refunded
Look man, we can call you or tell you anything we think about the problems you are having but that won't fix the problem ANY. i think most of us look like gang drug dealers here, holding your ankles trying to shake you of your change. it's not like that, it's more like you pay a cab driver to to take you to your sexy girlfriend waiting for you in a hotel, you expect to get some that night.
...except, instead the cab driver drives you to the suburbs and leaves you under a bridge but tells you he'll be back soon, be back soon, be back soon, be back soon, be back soon, be back soon...
for 3 years.
(...then after waiting and waiting your sexy girlfriend leaves you)

I can see a bunch of people upset here, I have been helping Chris get most of this sorted out.
Currently we are the mercy of the supplier and he has changed what he wants from us a couple of times. Within the next several weeks, you will see a bunch of this being corrected, I am helping Chris dig himself out of this hole. I too am waiting for results from my investments, however, with the length of time I have be doing aftermarket, I can tell you that often we are at the mercy of our suppliers to get things done, even when we have cash in hand.
Sorry for the delay
Bill

Shipping should happen today or Monday, I have paid the final installment on the hoods and they are shipping, I will have these listed on KFX early next week.
Shipping time going forward is about 7 to 10 days as these are made to order, I will try to get a couple in stock to keep ahead, but I have a lot of projects in the oven right now!!!
