flyryde is a scam to take peoples money. you have been doing it for years so dont act like this is some new thing, anyone who would do business with you after researching or reading any of your many dead GB's would be a fool.

Its actually not a scam. How many people or vendors have run off with peoples money? I can think of a few in no time. Chris is still here. Sure, hes got money tied up in stuff but he also isnt going anywhere. He is doing what he can to get refunds where they need to go. Was it his fault hotshot went out of business? I dont think so. Over on NT he can post up and say, "Hey, Ill do cf hatches for a grand" and 15 people will send it. He can hand IT or whoever all that and they will slam them out. Obviously for 5 hoods they aren't going to rush as much for us.

Im not telling anyone to buy or not buy from Chris. And honestly, Im surprised Chris still bothers with the RD guys. Its not going to end up making money. But he is a part of this community. One of the people who really helped to build it. And he is trying to get us parts that otherwise would never be available. I doubt anyone else would have tried doing evo hoods for RD1s and RD2s. He saw they were wanted and took them on.

Problem is, he gets excited about projects and posts them up before knowing to much about the work behind it. Then everyone else gets excited and gets in on it and then people realize, wait, you cant really have stuff like this done in a couple weeks. Especially with test fitting and all that. If he wanted to copy some body kits and sell them for $500 a piece Im sure then they could be done quick.

I know shits been rough with Flyryde around here. But, I think with the new headers and a couple other projects coming out things will really turn around. If people dont want to buy then they dont have to. Noone will EVER force you to support Chris or his business. Bottom line is, we have had people rip us off for thousands of dollars. I havent seen Chris running away with all our money yet and I doubt thats going to happen.

While that's all fine and dandy Ericy it doesn't do anything to explain why NT gets there products on the money collected here, that's bs.

This sale needs to stop until all people who are owed refunds or parts get what they have due to them. It is a bunch of BS that parts and people on NT are being taken care of with deposits made by OUR members on this site. Chris, I would like you to send me a PM explaining how you plan on fixing this mess. I am very grateful that I did not buy into any of them so nothing is owed to me personally. However I am angry that alot of our trusting members are out money because they believed in you and still believe in you. These people have families, bills, etc. just like you.

This should just be locked then. All its going to do is get everybody all riled up over the Flyryde stuff. If you want to stop sales here, Java, that's up to you. It doesnt do anybody any good for people to just use this (a showroom thread) to be negative towards anything. I can see why Jon is upset, but for people not in the buy, they shouldnt be posting about their thoughts in this thread.

if they weren't taken care of on our funds, then when where is our money, in the nightstand next to the bed? being concerned over what's been happening isn't negative.

next, tell me what could possibly be taking so long? the "lost" cowling was a good one. If my sh+t was lost i'd want it compensated for. how much do you want to bet if i asked type2ac or 98tib if they sold their cowling to anyone like chris said "good idea" to, they would deny any such sale? besides, if he has money to buy and ship a cowling, he has money to refund one more member.

we can say anything we want to. in the end, no money and no parts.

if anyone asks why this is getting off topic, well this has been the topic for the past 3 years blowup.gif

If any one of you wants to call me, and talk about whats going on with my company, or with their product they ordered, I'm always down. 909 770 2915. That being said, of course you guys have supported me, and get angry when I dont show you attention. I just quit my position with my family's company two days ago, after over a year and a half since I began working with them again. I did what I needed to do, and after a year and a half, my new software was made live. Go checkout the site right now. We're adding new graphics, tons of new parts both FlyRyde and mainstream aftermarket products. That took me years to pay for and build, and now that its about ready for the new graphics, we can launch FlyRyde nation wide.

While it may seem that I've been hiding away, or ignoring you guys on purpose, I was simply taking care of business and not preaching about every bit of it. Jeremy called, at least 2 times, maybe more, and each time I jumped on the phone with ITZ checking the status of his replacement bumper. Stupid me didn't get back to him (while I was at SEMA). Meanwhile, I get to finally bring sales in to the company as we had always intended to, from all kinds of tuning platforms. During this process, I needed to both pay for debts of FlyRyde, pay my bills, and push this thing forward while I waited for the software. So I helped my families company for too long. I was stressed out, pissed off, and overworked, all while being underpaid.

A couple people get looked over in my forum posting, and I have hell to pay. I was able to get this new hood finished, and test fit all while I was out of state for work every week. For that alone I'm proud of myself. Then I find out it'll cost me twice as much as I had thought, and based the price off of??? That sucked, but either way I knew I had to take care of it. And as of this week, the company pushed me too far, and all the sudden my software business is ready to take off, so pooof, I'm gone. For you guys that means more time for me to work on adding products to FlyRyde, and more importantly paying my bills. I have multiple businesses lined up for magazine adds highlighting their products, which get me lower prices, and cost you guys less to buy from us.

If you want to talk about straight forward business, then I'm the wrong guy. I dont take a dollar from one guy, and pay a dollar to another for some quick buck service. I have to concoct the crazies plans on how this is going to make sense, and why anyone would want to buy from FlyRyde. So as I've been driving over 1000 miles a week for work, and thinking about everyting for hours in the car, I make progress bit by bit. I wont get rich over night, and I want take anyones money and run with it. I do what I do for you guys, whether you've decided I was too slow about it or not. I'll continue to support this community no matter how many mobs with torches get the urge to come hunt me down. I'm happy to take calls, and hear you guys b**** about something you know about a drop in the bucket about. Its not like anyone really has any reason to get me to explain my life story and how I mean to turn a profit.

Just know I haven't made a profit yet, and until you guys revert from angry mob members, to happy FlyRyde lovers (it will happen, even if you dont want it to). When I no longer post on these boards, is when I'm not in business, and I'm too broke to afford a computer. As long as you see signs of life, I'll pay what I owe, and unfortunately I cant see the future to tell you the exact date and time. I know I have a few things I can take care of this week, and as of Friday, I get my last paycheck from the company, which will be put entirely to the missing cash for those 4 FG Hoods. That's all I can promise, but I garuntee when you guys have your parts, and have nothing left to be negative about, and the new wave of tuners come in, and you sell your car, and move on in life, I'll be around still. And when running the forums gets old, and people put new people in place, and CNK and Real, and other companies who took money and ran have all but forgotten about the people they screwed, I'll be around. You guys never seem to quite understand my position here. You'll get it one day.

Chris, I just don't know what to say my man. The situation has been out of hand for too long, and after SOCKS took off, you stopped trying to fix things here. You have to admit, PLENTY of folks at NT.com wree in the same mess with the Hotshot stuff, and look, it's all taken care of over there. I don't see ANYTHING delinquent over there, but we have projects waiting for over 3 years?

3 years?!?!?

The people here have more than enough right to be pissed off, as RD members have gotten screwed enough.

Well, something needs to be done about it, and I'm sorry bud, but you aren't welcome to sell anything here, EVEN IF IT IS IN HAND, until these problems are fixed. Not a bushing, not onegrounding wire.

Nothing.

I went out of my way to help you, and even got you someone to help you with investing to get you back on your feet, what, almost a year ago now, and we still aren't even 1/4 of the way finished yet.

The staff here, not just me, but the ENTIRE STAFF, wants a solution listed here by you THIS MONTH, on how this is all going to be fixed. We will be talking to the staff's of the other Hyundai Community Sites to let them know that while they are running fine, we are getting screwed. CrookedH has shown to be helpful to us, EXD has been helpful too, and maybe the folks at NT can help you either fix things, or just go out of business for good.

Honestly, I've had enough staff members and SITE members say to just ban you and your site from the forums, and suck up the loss to everyone, that we could do it right now and that would be the end of it. Here at least. Then they would go and spill over into your pocketbook websites, and affect your sales there.

That's pretty bad.

The recent calls that you've ignored from me show me that nothing has changed. The fact that you haven't emailed, called, texted, or anything, really pushes the knife deeper. You fail to remember that I wasn't calling for me, I was calling for ABQELantra, as it's HIS bumper that's been sitting at his house for the past what, 4 months now? Waiting for the correct one to come. Man up to your MFR's if they are the problem and PUT YOUR BALLS on the table, or walk away, and close down shop.
