Wow, they look pretty nice. I'm suprised they sent WHITE hoods though.
Anyways, that chip, it's nothing man, get a pic from the top or bottom looking at it from the side.
Probably $50 if that, to fix.
Hell, the shop painting it may not charge at all.

wow, im amazed you actually got them.. only 18 months later.. lmao.gif but at least you got them..
pretty shitty that you spent 400$+ on a hood and it has a chip in it. wouldnt be a hard or expensive fix, but thats not the point. i would contact IT or flyryde and see what can be done.. hopefully they will be able to reimburse you for the repair, because sending it back wouldn't be an option. you probably wouldn't see another one for a year or so.
suprised though to see no cuts for the hood prop, washer nozzles, etc. though.

DON'T DRILL HOLES FOR THE NOZZLES!!!!!!!
Go to the JY, swipe some nozzles and hoses off a Cavalier, or any other 2000+ GM vehicle. The nozzles clip onto the wiper arm, and FIT PERFECTLY on the Tib's arms. I had my holes on the hood filled and got Grand Am nozzles. They're more effective and work perfectly fine....PLUS I have a nice SMOOOOOOTH hood.

My VIS has the holes in it already but nowhere for the prop really. I just stick it somewhere that works. Those do look really nice though. I wish mine didnt have any holes at all in it.
whew, not i don't feel so bad about have this hood. I would definitely give them a call and tell them the BS about the chipped hood.
sounds to me like the either had a new guy in shipping or something.

I wish that were the case. Its just hit or miss with ITZ. Tell you what Jon, if ITZ blows you off ("IF" lol funny), and if I get my act cleaned up here now that I'm able to bring some cash into the company, then I'll pay it for you. I know that's a lot of ifs, but seriously I owe you more I could repay in wasted time with me and FlyRyde. That being said, I'm not making any promisses, but I have some good money coming in soon, and lots of people to redirect it to. If it only costs me 50 bucks to help cover your costs installing the hood, then it'd be worth it. Just the peace of mind would make me feel great. I have a lot of stuff to sell off this week, and lots of cash coming in at the end of the month from the new headers. So with my fingers crossed and my new site and software company picking up steam quick, I hope I can send you that 50 bucks soon. Maybe it'll pay for a nice dinner, I dont know, but it'd feel nice to do. Hoods look great smile.gif Installed Pics???
