Kinda good, kinda bad news. Good news is that everything is ready to make hoods in 3 days. Bad news is, ITZ has really horrible accounting skills, so until they ship out my last two hatches that have been paid for, they aren't making anything else. I have an account I'm working with that ordered a ton of Eyelines, and out of nowhere there was 40 sets of eyelines at ITZ. When I sent in cash for the last 4 hatches, they took it upon themselves to take half of that cash to put down on the Eyelines. So I've had two customers waiting for hatches for way longer than needed, because ITZ decided where the money I paid for their parts would be allocated. I swear that's gotta be illegal in some kinda way? Maybe not? Anyway, I've been waiting on my wholesale account to get me the cash for the rest of the eyelines, and its been taking them quite a bit longer than they thought it would.
What this means for you guys, is that I'm double paying on the hatches that need to go out, just so they ship today, and we should have a RD2 Evo mounted with pics here once this is cleared up. We'll test fit it, and have them slam out the first 5 and ship them once we know they'll fit right (they damn well better since we waited this long, AND used an OEM hood). Henry, the owner of ITZ said they'll take 3 days to make FG hoods, even in quantity.

Alright, the site's been down, but it's been a full month since our last update, so how's it going?

I will have pics of one fitted up here any day now. I'm using Spiffywerks car to show a CF version of the hood to check fitment, and then off the first 5 Fiberglass hoods go. I doubt anyone will want to upgrade to CF after how long this has taken, but you'll at least know how it will look. ITZ should have them ready for me 3-5 days after I pay them for new orders, so this will definitely be some much needed money on new sales after your guys 5 Hoods are shipped and received.
UPDATE:
The Carbon Fiber 2nd Gen Tib Evo Hood was confirmed in stock today. I set up an appointment for either monday or tuesday, and we have the car lined up to come in for the test fit. We'll have pics of the hood posted monday or tuesday. If the test fit happens on Tuesday, I might run out of time for the day and have to post the images on Wednesday when I get in to the showroom around 9 or 10am.
I'll also have pics of the new Eyelines in Carbon as well for the 1st and 3rd gens by then, which will help sales enough to get a good run of these new Evo Hoods sold. Keep your fingers crossed that it looks as kick ass as I hope it does!
