they are much brighter that stock bulbs, not as expensive as silverstars, they are made by Sylvania, though. I've gotten them at both Pepboys and at Advance Autoparts. I have one silverstar in right now and a cool blue, you can tell the difference when looking at the headlights themselves, and the cool blue puts out a little bit more light onto the road.

And i think part of the problem with the silverstars being "crappy" may be solely because of our projector headlights, not with the actual bulbs. I will try one on the high beams soon and see. I plan on doing a comparison between the gold bulbs that i have on the way and silverstars probably next week. Will post pics, and try to find my stock bulbs to do a stock / silverstar comparison too.

rockym20: go to Canadian Tire, they have both Cool Blues and Silverstars

tibwrcsbj: hey, great idea, when you do the comparison, i might get cool blues, but right now i don't trust either cool blues or silverstars...

Yeah, like gold foglights, i also bought gold high beams and can't really tell the differnce in color( on the road) between them and the polarg pure yellow, i have one of each installed, but its a huge difference in color if actually looking at the housing, the "gold" ones look alot more white than the yellow polargs, i haven't really decided which i'm going to keep in yet, prob take me a coouple of days to do all the comparisons though, b/c i don't get home from work til late (7-8pm) and would prob only do one a night.

QUOTE (rockym20)
How do you find the cool blues? I got a set as part of a promotion at a local speedshop, but I haven't installed them yet. From everything I have read, blue light bulbs don't provide as good a light on the road as "normal" bulbs.

i have found that i can see better with my blue bulbs, only if it is not raining outside...weird eh?
