so what is replaced with a HID kit? im pretty sure its just not the bulbs. but would say a civic HID kit work for a tibby, or a car that has the same type of headlight bulbs?

And to think... the HID kits are coming down too. I think HIDS4less are out of business.. their website is down and I have heard rumors of terrible service.. but Sylvania has a couple of kits out now.

no.. i am sorry all hids are illegal.. apc got sued for sellin some kits... and i know for a fact that unless your car came from purchase with hids you are not aloud to have a hid kit due to brightness and it is illegal in all 50 states.. and yes mad-machine you are right as in the fact that you are not aloud to have municipal lights in the front of cars.. that means no blue or red..

Well, I dare say that with our cars projector lights.. we are less likely to get busted for HIDs than say my Fiat with it's H4s... The Projector puts the light JUST right instead of all over the place.
