Maybe we should compromise. No rally headlights on your silly European cars and no 10,000 watt lamps illuminating empty highways. Auto-dimming motion-sensing street lights. The only loser: the neighbors who move in after these are in place and complain about the flashing/dimming all night waking them up . . .
