How many interseted in gullwing doors?
Ah guys; forget about those crapy kits; they never really work. Sooner or later the screws get a little loose, metal twists a bit, whatever... but remember a micro change at the bolts area is a HUGE change at the end of the dors; and they DO start to scratch and are missaligned in short period of use. Our (and 99.9% of other) cars are just not made for that crap; real supercars are designed for such doors; they don`t become loose after a while so keep your$ and upgrade your cars in some other ways wink.gif

You don't want them, don't get them.
We've had this discussion before.
Jaws021 has a kit on his that is very well made and it's been on there for about 2 months now, with, I belive, no problems.
The problem before was CRAPPY cheap kits being made for us. Now some good ones are being made.

Guys just wait until you see the kit...
You dont want to jump on the gun TOO quickly now...
My only worry is that well... since this kit seems like its still in the production phase..
R&D wont really be complete..
The only way to really see how good it is... is well.. for someone to just see how well it supports the weight of the door in comparison to other kits.
As far as scraching the fender and all that bs...
Ok..
If you have lambo doors, be prepared to open your door a certain way, and only that way.
If your a moron... dont get this kit.
With a delicate modification such as this, the consumer needs to operate the product responsibly..
IF you like swinging your doors open.. dont get this kit..
If you think you can drive your car with the doors open while you peel and look sUpEr MaD fLy.... dont get this kit.
Scratching the fender is possible.. bending the hinges is possible... IF you open the doors like a complete moron.
Like someone said.. this modification really isnt for our car and is in no way as reliable as "true lambo doors".
If you open your doors NORMALLY and carefully... youll be ok.
Lambo doors are possible, could be reliable, could get you laid,... but they could also fail if your a complete and utter moron.
The hinges made for lambo door kits are incredibly strong now that the only way they will bend is if your being stupid.
Ok... the main importance of this kit...
Is well..
How does it support the door in comparison to other kits..
This could be tested by how much force you need to apply in order to open the door. Tiburon doors are f-ing heavy, so this is very important.
Ideally.. i would want two strong ass struts supporting my door.. my kit manufacturers opted for just one big ass strut..
Size is important here as we dont have that much room in the fenderwell..
Another tiburon specific look out is... does the kit clear the door?
Look at your door panel.. part of it sticks out (the part where we have the air vent)...
Well the door needs to come out normally (until it clears that)... then up.
Those are just the main concerns..
Anyways..
Just sit and wait for the kit..
Give the guy some time... If they are taking their time with something its for a reason.
Just relax for now and wait...
If he takes as long as KORE.. then ill get on the hunt with my manufacturer..
It looks like theirs close to 10-15 possible buyers by looking at the people in this forum and the emails i get from people outside hyundai boards. So whereever we go... we should get a fairly decent deal.
Lets wait and see what he has to offer before we jump to anything..

My friends get in and out easier...
chicks have a hard time making the doors go up.. as i said.. our doors are f-ing heavy.
So your going to have to use some strenght to get the dam thing up
