I already have a CF evo hood from flyride and I planned on getting his CF hatch once they are done. To complete my project I planned on putting ATH front lip, turby side skirts, and GTR spoiler (eventually wrapped in CF to match the CF hatch).

Total with the parts installed come out to be $900 without the hood.

Now with the new parts coming from Flyride it totaly screwed my head up and I don't know what to do....

With FlyRide products I would have Evo Bumper, hood, hatch, turby sides, King Rear bumper, and wing, all products in CF.

CF skirts and evo front bumper would cost me about $900 shipped and I suppose another $50 to cover my spoiler with CF. So the cost difference would be only $50 or so, but considering that I will loose money on shipping skirts and lip to whoever will buy it, price diiference would be $150 or so.

But if I do decided to go all CF root, I will have to spend another $400 or so on the rear bumper and $300-400 on new fenders.

and would it all look right on my car?

Please give me all of your opinions and ideas because I only have a week to call in the place that was suppose to paint and put on all the stuff on for me to cancel with them.

Thanks

OP

IMO i dont really like CF that much. Hoods are ok but CF body kits IMO dont look very good. BUT If you like CF then go with the CF body kit.

won't it be too much CF?

I think - if fenders are made from carbon - then go with it. If not and then covered by carbon fiber - then - no. But it's just my $0.02.

If you want to go the carbon fibre route, I think you should definitely go with the full kit Chris is making. It looks mean!

I personally will be eagerly awaiting the kit in fibre-glass though... Whilst I do appreciate the benefits of CF, it's not really my thing & painting over it would just be wrong IMO.

I really like CF, but not sure how it's going to turn out...

Dima, yes, I'm afraid that it might be too much CF and look too busy. Fenders are made out of CF.

Oz, I really like his kit, just very confused...

Can someone chop for me his kit on my color car? With CF bumpers, skirts, hatch, fenders, and wing?

i saw an rx7 on a show one time that was 90% carbon fiber. looked pretty b****in.

at the very least, get the parts that will make a weight difference. you already got the hood, i think you should definately get the hatch.

I am not a big fan of the CF look, but it's all about what you like. You said that you really like carbon fiber, and with your color car, it could look pretty good I think. It isn't something I would do because I'm not a fan of CF, but if you think you want all CF except for your doors basically, go for it.

I think if you are going to have more than just a cf hood make the whole body cf, but they dont make the parts so maybe a wrap like on the door and quater and roof because I think all cf would look good but I dont like how most of a car is cf but the rest is painted because it looks incomplete IMO, but also you dont want it to be ricey by just wrapping, maybe Chris will do the whole thing, who would of thought a few months ago that this much would be possible, the cf hatch, hood, and sunroof look good without the whole car being cf

CF hatch is goin in 100%. I saw a few cars with hood and a hatch in blue and it looks amazing. I might even be able to get my buddy to wrap my roof, so complete look.

Anyone knows a process of wrapping a roof in CF?

I won't be able to afford CF body for our cars. So I might just get everything wrapped, if I can get someone to do it professionaly. And I agree with you that having some CF and some paint would look incomplete... Don't know what to do....

I think the carbon hood, front bumper and fenders would look good like a one piece front end. The cf sunroof would look good too. Maybe the hatch. I don't know about the back bumper it's not all that heavy to begin with and may look weird in cf. If you did the whole front end, sunroof and hatch the skirts may look cool but by then so might the rear bumper Might not look bad with the paint. Cf docr skins would be hot!

Is flyride making a cf sunroof or just the guy in the gb. Does it match the flyride cf?
