2nd gen has much nicer rear bumper stock in my opinion. In terms of tuning a tib, I'd definitely say RD1, we're lighter smaller and have a beta, thats all one could ask for in a tib.

Actually, the body style of the GK is the least of my favorites among all 3. There are a lot of things I like about the GK, but I'll always like the RD1 and RD2 more.
And just from my personal opinion... if the first and second generation tiburons had not had the aftermarket desires that they did, and shown so much interest, there would have been no support for the GK.

I was just looking at the poll on the front page.. asking what year tib you own... right now the 2000 and 2001 models are double that of the 97, 98, and 99. 12 year 2000 cars. 14 year 2k1. only a single 97, four 98s, and a solitary 99 (mine). No wonder you guys like the Gen two better.

i agree..
i dont like the body styles of the gen3's as much of the first and second gens..

Hehe, I also think that the GK's are not as nice as our body style. Maybe I am in denial, because I bought my car a year or so before the new one came out. But for sure, my 2nd gen gets way more looks than the GK's. Still people are asking me what kind of car it is. Lets just say that the RD's are the best. smile.gif

although I own a gen2 not to mention yellow... Im selling it and getting a Gen1 and its gonna be just like Jaws's except im getting the same hood as random except cf.
