Just a quick Poll,...
I know when I got my 1st gen in late 99, I had a choice for the 2nd Gens as they had just came out, but I really thought they were nasty,... but they have grown on me,.. mind you I still would have gotten my 1st gen over the 2nd if I had to do it all over again,... except have all the OEM changes they did for the 2001's like the double syncros, as the shifting is WAY smoother, well I guess everything except for the 2 cats from the Cali emmissions,... anyway,.. since this is a RD forum,... I'd thought I have a poll.

Not asking what gen you have, but what Gen would you WANT to have, 1st or 2nd, only in an esthetic way

to me, the 2001 looks a little more masculine. i would have still picked the 2001.

If I had a choice I would take the second gen , but with the first gen front end. I have never been too fond of the "Spider Eyes" of the second gens.

I've never heard them referred to as Spider Eyes...

I would say 2nd gen. I like the body styling and interior more, along with headlight and tails.

There are several first gens that I really love... like KayJai's, Xorro's, Randoms, and NightShark (pic below)
I would still get the 2nd gen, but damn, some of the first gens are gorgeous...

I've got the handling now,... can't really improve on that,... except for maybe some better rubber.
Next will be power,... preferably a nice S/C,... I like to have power all the way through the revs.
Then body kit.
