Silicone Lube is available at most auto parts stores in their "spray lube" section. Move your hand away from that dog gone WD-40 and the Ultra-Slick and get some silicone lube.
Of course, give your engine a coat of engine cleaner first, but you'll never get those pipes, cables, and plastics looking like they will after silicone.... Spray on a rag, and just rub anything that's black. Work it in until it's black again.
Keep in mind that the RD2 has a exhaust manifold recall and it might crack if you cool it down too quickly.
Pyro--- that brown cooling hose you have would be black with silicone lube.
