Default Transmission prob.

Ok when my car is really cold and I first start my frst gear change is rough jumping about 1.25 grand in rpms, and when it is warm is will jump about.25 grand ? I just recently had my tranny flushed and fluids replaced. And suggestions?

Do you mean when you start the car it jumps? Or when you put it into first?

sounds more like it is hanging up in shifting.. pausing a moment between gears and allowing the RPMS to jump up before getting into the next gear.

You mean the RPMs jump after you shift? Could be your clutch slipping, or maybe your hitting the gas while the clutch is still engaged. tongue.gif Assuming its a manual here though...

It is a automatic, it jumps right before the second gear catches.
