Dddude has a steal for you. Maybe you guys could come up with a way to meet half way. That's ~4 1/2 hour drive one way each. Like he said though, everything's the same other than front end/rear end, and dash. I don't know about the TCU though.

It is probably too advanced a DIY for our unfortunate OP, but it would probably be possible to convert to a different type of auto trans., with a working whole parts car.

tiburon

i found this tib on craigslist an hour and a half away from me. 173,000 miles but it supposedly runs. they want 1500. is it worth buying with so many miles on it??

I paid $1k us for my 98 auto when it had 80k miles on it...
I paid $1.5k Can for my 5speed with 115k miles on it...

true that...i bought my tib for $700 but it haspreatty high kms...next oil change is listed at 200,000kms. but i don't know if everybody else has noticed but people lately don't relize the value of thier car. i've searched high and low for a decent '91 civic hatch but everybody must think that they're like mint at the prices they want for them.

personally I wouldn't buy it, but that's just me. I know where there's a trans for ~$100 in york pa, I'd be glad to help you swap it if you want, It wouldnt take more than an afternoon. I'm in Lancaster Pa on weekends, send me a pm if you want
