If you go to http://car-part.com/ they have them for $350 to $700 in your neck of the woods. Remember to check them all out and get all your info on the tranny that you can before buying such as mileage and stuff but I'm sure you know that. Just making sure you don't do everything in utter haste.
how reliable the information in the Car-parts?
Say, i see there are grades of the product A and A+, but some trannys are running their 100K miles already..

Junkyards are going to be your best bet, most places acquire and rebuild parts for a profit. Like altenators and such I am sure they have trannies for your needs.
