Squeeky Power Steering With Aftermarket Pulleys?

On my 99 I had the underdrive pulley. I do remember having a power steering issue when I first got it. Driving it around I noticed the belt would squeek and it was a brand new belt. After driving it around I popped the hood and notice power steering fluid all over the place near the reservoir. After cleaning it up and adjusting the tension it went away.
