mine used to do that. but i had a really messed up tranny. now it revs a little higher like 1500 just for a like 15 sec then it drops down to like 1100 until it gets warm.

what year is your car? 97 right? 1.8L too right. then maybe its just our cars. that sux

u got it buddy. so how does the computer adjust the idle with it? i mean does it like push it or what?

2 unique i have the same problem you do.. about the idle and still haevnt been able to fix it.. so its not form the conversion.. i haev the older system tuing tb.. teh same you got i beleive. but i dont know about that wire to the ignition form it

Do you have the old SR TB?
Iago pointed out what long and i was talking about.That was the wire i was talking about.The funny thing is that my wire is way thinner than it that pic?
Also you see how its pluged in straight,well mine is plugged underneath because if i was too set it up like in the pic my idle goes to 2000RPM's.Even if i was too disconnect it does nothing.
Im going to put my stock TB this week and see if the high idle goes away!!!!!!
