Removing Cam Sprockets
Thanks for the replies smile.gif
After taking it to my local garage, they immediately said "ah, so you got a cam there - wanting the sprocket pressed off?" looking at the spare OEM 1.8 in my hand... followed by a big grin from me smile.gif
So yeah, they are just simply pressed on and off. Theres no need to heat or sweat, and they just press back onto the cam aligned into the slot for accuracy.

Miracles do happen.
There are dozens of threads about good and horrible outcomes with Kspec and SFR, both here and at NT.

I've ordered 3 or 4 things from K-Spec. I always introduce myself as DTN from RDTiburon.com in an e-mail which I send shortly after making a purchase. I also make speciffic requests or ask for a timeline. I have had no problems except delivery times which pretty much always take 2 weeks from Korea. I don't know. It seems to work and get things done.
Good to see that everything worked out well.
