my guess is it wasn't burped properly.
When ever i empty or change a radiator i try to get as much coolant out as possible for the head.
-using compressed air
Then when the radiator is installed fill till topped off.
-leaving the cap off
Then start the car let it warm up and add coolant as needed
- wait for the thermostat to open up
- fill until you can fill no more
- put a little coolant in reserve don't fill
- put cap back on
Even with doing the above some times you still get air on that first drive and if it starts to overheat
pull to a safe area to stop and let it cool down.
If you see a leak right under neath the coolant reservoir when its cooled down, it means you have to much coolant in and the reservoir is bleeding it out.

I actually did all of the following steps, I think? Haha bet anywho the car hasnt overheated and Im pretty sure the rad was the culprit. And plus I like the beta 2 radiator better, the fans on that thing are amazing. Much better than the stocker fans on the beta 1 radiator. Thanks for your guys' advice, if it acts up again Im sure Ill make another post. *sigh*
