They can be found cheaper even. So you are doing stock rods with Wisecos?

Should be ok. Maybe consider cryo-treating or something? You should be able to get a good tune with the Haltech so I wouldnt be to worried.

Think I'm changing my mind. Can I order the ones from their website with no major troubles? just let them know if I'm using press or floating bearings?,and do these have holes (unlike stock)for pin oiling or is this extra?

Is there a way to determine if anything is happening to rods without opening engine? What early signs should one look for?

Thanks ericy321 fing02.gif I plan on ordering a set tomorrow, hopefully rifle drilled as well for added safety..I wish I could find hyundai goods way up here in Nova Scotia easier, but since its not a honda ,I wont hold my breath.
ps: would'nt one think pauter would sell rods at/or cheaper than their distributers?

^^^I doubt it since Gary's Haltech E6X is under my tiburon's dash right now working like a charm. fing02.gif

His reason for selling it to me was "going with something different". So who knows what kind of tune and what kind of management it is.
