I belive it holds an extra quart of oil also.

And how exactly does it do that? I doubt it does.

If it's deeper, then you would need a deeper pickup or you're screwed.
It's not wider.
And they don't ask for 5.5 quarts of oil in the Beta II's.

They don't need more oil. It was a mistake. They use exactly the same amount as the Beta 1.

Random had posted that once before I belive. It may only be a half quart or such, but it holds more he said.

i dont think it does hold more... it can be deeper without the need for a longer pickup as long as its baffled

probably just a mistake. Every oil change I've ever done on the tib I've only had to put in 4 quarts and I always change the oil filter when I put in 4.5 it was always a little overfilled. After taking the pan off I found that some doesn't drain... about 1/2 quart. When I filled the oil up after putting the pan back on it needed 4.5 quarts.
