I think we are all confused here.
LOL
The ONLY place that oil is getting into the intake is from thru your PCV valve, thru that tube into the corner intake pipe. Take out your intake pipe and run your fingers thru it.
Yeah. Ugh.
Might wanna clean that too.

in a turbo engine or a high compression engine... ANY oil is bad as it does lower the octane of your fuel... oil burns weird compared to the more controlled explosion gas has.
And I would have to go and look once it gets warmer out again.. believe it or not, my tib is the first injected car I have ever owned.

Groupby on a homemade catch can? LOL go to home depot, get yourself a little water seperator and some lines/fittings, and make your own.
While the Tibby is a fairly high compression (10.3:1?) it does have a tolerance for low octane fuel. If it didn't, then they would have a hell of a lot more warranty problems than they do now. Thats why its not a necessity, but rather a decent addition. Trust me, once you turbocharge a Tiburon, your going to get to where you wish your engine didn't need oil. Oil lacing your intercooler decreasing efficiency, keeping the PCV bypass clean, watching oil feed and return lines.... ugh.

Agreed, how many you making col? I am assuming it would be the same quality as the kspec one (TRUE catch can, not an airline filter).
