I agree with tanc .. i thought this was a joke. If you thought that an intercooler would help with HP.. Well you know now it doesn't, but if you were going to do it for show... Well .. that's just silly..

Yeah...N/A + Intercooler = Hardcore Ricey Badness. I would have to go with bad idea on that one. I do suppose we shouldn't be too hard on the guy, he's from Thailand.

According I'd read all of ur adviced. I reallized that it's not a good idea to install the fake IC because
I don't know much about the bad result to my engine cause I don't know much about engine mechanics.
By the way,I just from thailand and used a hyundai tiburon eventhough right now hyundai agent is not here anymore.but I try to search some people in other country whose still has the same model as me...like this site smile.gif
Let's me tell u about a little group in thailand who still used hyundai. most of us have to find the second hand parts from singapore which they're not use Tiburon(RD1-RD2) anymore. They use the new one Tuscani model. So,we have critical problems to find some part of hyundai perhape I have to wait for a part in a couple months....
Well,It's not concern about the topic just to ask a stupid question and I got its.Don't worry I won't do that for sure I just wondering what will look like if I do that...

Do it! Go and put an inctercooler! laugh.gif nah man..seriously, it would be the same as putting a 1m high GT Wing on your car laugh.gif there is not functional purpose for an intercooler if you dont have a turbo..

As for the parts, well there some shops online that you can get parts from, search this website you will find some..ofc the shipping cost would probalby suck.. (as always).. Good luck wink1.gif

Wow two street racing comments and no closed thread, suprised haha, I thought about that at one point, get a really small side mount and attaching it to a WAI but it would kill the air flow, unless you could make something that would fin the outside of the tubing in an attempt to cool the intake piping. But thats like most of my other ideas, spending more money for less lol. Just page through JCwhitney under the truck section, alot of grills they sell look like intercooler fins, you could custom fab one up there.

Whats your nationality? just a little curious

welcome to the site mate. now onto your question. i see that even though your question is n00bish, they way some people on here have answered is not in the best of manners. for that i am sorry. things could have been handled alot better. that aside, your idea wasnt too good for hp or looks.
what are you looking for in your car? more hp? looks? or a little of both. most people try to do the exhaust, header and cold air intake first. you could prolly do alot of that for the price of that intercooler.
if you have more qustions, before asking use our search tool, located in the upper right tool bar. youll find most answers there.
so what does your car look like and what do you do for a living? if you can get some pictures of your car and you post tem up so we can see what it looks like and you can see what other people think of it.
well have fun on the site.

hey welcome to the site! well, an intercooler can only be used with a turbo. don't worry, i had asked that question too when i first started out.

it's as useless as a blow off valve without boost. if you want turbo, order the turbo kit and fly from there.
