Would the cams we would recieve both be 270 degrees duration? Or would the exhaust cam only be 256? Thanks.

Any word on setups for non-US ECUs. My car is a 2.0 with Southamerican spec ECU (NO emission controls AT ALL; I mean no O2 sensor -not two, not one-, no catalytic converter) and Open Loop injection cycle (it has a reostat with a screw to adjust amount of fuel injected).
If I get you the serial number of my ECU can you check if you can get me an upgraded ECU.

QUOTE (zoned019 @ Mar 6 2006, 04:38 PM)
Maybe I'm cheap, but I can't justify paying more than the middle price of 850, and that would be with both of the cams.

Is there any way to get those prices down a bit (group buy??)

Woah! I just realized that the 'green' doesn't stop making power until ~7700 rpm. Is it safe to rev this high? Seems like that would be putting a lot of stress on some other internals as well..
Anyway, this is GREAT. I'm loving that we're getting more support for n/a each day.

thanks airborne!

airborne!?
I want to know about prices/GBs, and if its safe to rev to say 7500 daily with a modded n/a engine + this ecu and cams....

Oops, I didn't realize there were posts after my last post.

It would be your choice on the cam duration, but I'd recommnend 2 sets of 270cams.

zone019-
A GB may be possible, but how many people do you think realistically would get in on this?
Yes, it's safe to rev to 7500. For daily apps, I'd probably only want to go to 7200rpm.

Zman-
We can tune any hyundai ecu. If you could pull out your ecu and take a couple pictures so we could see the model number, that would help out a lot. Sometimes we require you to send us the ecu so we can check the data on the ecu and make sure we use a compatible version. With your open loop injector setup, it will be better if you revert to stock fuel setup when you get the ecu/cams.

****HUGE update - AWESOME NEWS****

I breached the language barrier!!! The horsepower figures were WAY off. The figures were based off of running on crappy Korean gas - the equivolent of regular gas (87 octane). With Premium gas (92-93 octane), horsepower gains with the the stage 1 setup are from 15-25whp based on engine condition and mods. 25WHP!!!

Your redline will also be raised to a safe 7200 RPM for your revving pleasure

Plus I have Group Buy Pricing!!!
ECU reflash with 240 degree Intake Cams for $550 USD shipped. If we get over 10 the price will drop to $500.

RD1 & RD2 only

$500 for 20 horses to the wheels is almost unbelievable.

If I get enough positive feedback, I'll start the GB immediately.

What about with the 270 degree intake cam or with the Intake and Exhaust cam combo? I'm going to assume you meant that the large gain in your most recent post is from the 270 degree cam right?

Nope. The large gain is only with the 240 degree intake cam. You can get even larger gains with 270 cams, but the GB will be for just the 240 cam. If you're serious and want more NA power feel free to PM me. The prices from post #22 are pretty accurate for higher degree cam setups.

How much for an ecu reflash if you already have cams?
