Ok Importshark now has the motoria 4-2-1 headers back up for sale and I was just wondering if anyone know about their quality?
I know kspec has the maintec's but I.S. is selling the motoria's for $200 a header and that I can afford a little more than the $399 kspec wants for their racing headers.

So anyone know anything about these headers? Please let me know.

And I did search around, found a few things but nothing really about quality of these.

Default Motoria 4-2-1 header quality Q's?

I don't know of anyone here that owns it. You might end up being the guinea pig. But I've heard that SSA and motoria sell similar if not the same products. If so, fitment might be a little iffy. Remember, you usually get what you pay for. wink.gif

yeah, I know, but somebody's gotta do it right.

And correct me if I'm wrong but first gens have the two hole flanges and the second gen have the three hole flanges right?

All have two-bolt flanges except for some 2001s. Some 2001s have two-bolt, some three.

It's a tough choice. I would go with the GT header if I were you but I know it's a little more expensive. Remember that you might have to buy a horizontal cat as well.

Depends on whether his state is really strict like California. If your not in a strict state like me, who obeys emissions laws anyway? I would make up for my atmospheric contamination by recycling or planting a couple dozen trees. It'll make ya feel better about running no cats. lol.gif

You know, it's best to get a cat..he could get a high flow one for a decent price..Unless he has the California emissions Tib that has two cats. He could remove the one connected to the manifold and just use the second.

I thought that first cat looking thing under the OEM headers was just a resonator?

Oh and if I had the money I would DEF. get the headers from kSpec but...

That thing right underneath your exhaust manifold is the cat. The resonator is a little further down. Like I stated earlier, IF you have Cali emissions, you should have two cats. You could remove the first (the one connected to the exhaust manifold) and keep the second but i don't know how much more difficult it migh be to get inspected. If you want to play safe, just replace it with a high flow cat.
If you can afford it, get the GT header. If not, save up and get it later..just my two sents..

So lets say I bought a good quality high flow cat and a good quality muffler, and used the motoria headers and then went to an exhaust place and got it all done up.

1) Would it be better to buy an aftermarket catback setup or go the custom route?

2) Would it be cheaper to buy an aftermarket catback setup or go the custom route?

Just tryin to get a feel for the route best taken. Ya know.

And I plan on stayin N/A, just goin to try to squeeze everything out of an N/A setup.
