Here is a pic of the awesome carnage that I brought about. Woot, not.
These are the rare Sharkracing 268 cams with a full Ferrea valvetrain with dual valve springs, titanium retainers and keepers, and cant forget the competition valves and spring seats.

The mechanics would sometimes refer to the "CHIPS" light as a "chunks" light. Like when stuff like this happens.
I wonder if the dual springs had anything to do with this?

Good ol' fun right there. The funny thing is, is that the intake side was fine with no problems like the exhaust side had. And Turboron, do you mean mechanical lash adjusters like the beta II's have or something else? In that case, nope. They are jus the oem beta I hla's. From what I've seen, people who are running dual valve springs and/or these cams haven't had these problems. I think I'm the only person who has ever had this problem on the forum. But the problem has been fixed, all I did was swapped out the blown up lash adjusters and replaced them. Pain in the butt, but I got it taken care of. Jus hoping it doesn't happen again, I'm running out of spare lash adjusters. lol

Maybe doing a beta II head swap down the road could be an option but Im not 100% sure if my cams would work in a beta II head. I know it would have to be a non-CVVT head but yeah. But as of now, not really sure if anyone even sells aftermarket/stronger lash adjusters.
