For leak down test you need valves to be closed and they are completelly closed when piston is at top dead poit (but every 2nd turn, cause we have 4-stroke engines)

If i remeber correctly webtach said that 170 is normal and the lowest in spec compression is 149 so anything lower than 149 and your rings are probably worn...but a compression of 213!! i dont know what to say to that. are you using a thinner head gasket/ overtorqued bolts?

213 psi is the normal spec... via webtech.I dunno where you ppl are getting these 140ish numbers from. Even engines with relatively low compression stock (stock turbo motors for instance) get 170-180 compression in pristine condition.

As said, a leak down is more accurate though.
