I have an SSautochrome AEM copy. As you all know I am not too happy with them right now. OP, hopefully by the end of next week. I am waiting on my AEM to come in. If you want it, it's yours for $40 plus shipping. One thing though, I cut it so that I could put the AEM bypass on, I can either give you a 3" to 3" adapter or for $20 more my old AEM BP.

i've had my eye on an AEM system until today.....

today i started lookin' at the OBX intake, and they look pretty good with a LOT of filter options, and 50 bucks cheaper...... but is the two piece a radical difference from the one-piece AEM set up?

Well, here we go with the OBX>

LOL

OBX makes ok stuff, all of it though, is copied. Their intake is a cheap 2 piece copy of the AEM. That seam on the inside where the 2 pieces meet creates turbulence and slows the air down.

Is it worth the price? Probably. Is it a good intake, I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. THe AEM being a 10.

Java, it's 2 pieces, it's gotta have a seam where it goes together.
