Got any water in your gas tank?, ... This is really weird.
Bad tank of gas? hmmmm...

check your ignition coils?? how many Miles/kilometers on the car?
when was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

check the idle speed control actuator, i recentley went got a check engine light so I went to Autozone and got a free OBD II check on it, and they gave me a fault code of 1586. its the IDSC, I may have to get a new one, off to the junk yard this week, YEAY

kinda rough and I only noticed it when the light came on,

it could be your ECU

MAF sensor was changed?

Uhm, doode, did you quadruple check to see it's pointing in the correct direction?

It's VERY easy to do. Go out, look at the MAF, there should be an arrow on it POINTING in the direction of air flow TOWARDS your BBTB.

Go double, triple, quadruple, and whatever comes after that, check it.

this is the fault flow diagram, very vague, but it leads to replacing the ECU

Yeah, I think it could be his wires are bad. It can happen easily.

Get them tested.

How much did you fool with your idle adjustment? Did you reset your ECU after your BBTB?
