Idle Problem
no.... next to the armature's for the cable's there is an adjust ment screw for the idle. its slightly down and to the left of the armatures. The screw has a metal sleeve around it. Look for a metal tube looking thing and if you shine a flash light in the end of it you will see a screw in there.... May just try and adjust that and see what happens.

No, you can't see the Idle Adjustment Screw on that pic. It's on the TB. What is in your pic is the throttle cable, you can adjust the tension of it with that nut in the center, but you don't adjust the idle with that.
What you need to adjust on the stock TB is show in the pic below. You see the big green coiled spring? See the little circle to the left of it? That's the Idle adjustment Screw.

The BBTB is in the other side of the picture. See the big bolt to the left of the silver spring? That's the idle adjustment for the BBTB.
Same same.
They could cause backfiring, you sure you put the wires on in the correct order? Are the plugs all in correctly and not crossthreaded? Are the wires seated firmly?

Keep adjusting it. Did you have this problem before or after you installed the BBTB?
Have you checked your plugs? The wires could be bad too.
