^ Eh, mine burns some oil. It's now got 139,000 kms on it. I don't think that's too unusual for a 9yo car.

Well yea, its nine years old and has close to ~100k miles on it. Its not going to be in tip top performance shape. Its like a 38 year old man now, it can still run, but not as fast as it used to when it was a teenager. tongue.gif

You might burn what, a quart of oil in between changes maybe? His burned close to 2 or 3 most likely if he says it was almost out. Not very good.

faith - I singled him out because it was the 3rd time I had posted right after dmitry... he always seems to get there right before I do.

Faith was right, too. It's probably the HLA's.

happy now? twak.gif

OZ.. I'm glad you caught that. I was wondering if anyone would lmao.gif

thanks for all your help everyone. i took almost 3 quarts of oil to fill it up 02.gif and after i put it in and drove it around a little bit the noise stopped. so i guess i got lucky this time. but from now on i will take better care and pay more attention to my car. but i also found out where the oil was leaking from. the drain plug was stripped and wasnt sealing completely and was slowly leaking from there. but i got that problem fixed now. thanks again guys
