My friend got his AEM CAI on his 2002 Galant yesterday (automatic) and he hasn't shut up about it. He loves the sucker. I had originally told him he needed exhaust, because it was so quiet and needing a little tone to it... but he said that his CAI has really made it deep and sounds extremely nice. He said he actually white smoked his tires and spun out for 12 seconds (of course it was raining and wet roads) but he hadn't been able to do that prior to the CAI.

He loves it.... but I have a question... I went to a local audio shop and the guy had AEM boxes laying out... they said "Blue" and "Polished" and one said "clear" ... IS THERE A CLEAR AEM INTAKE!?!? I forgot to ask the guy about it, and just now remembered

A clear intake made out of Lexan or something like that would kick @ss. I doubt it it clear though, as the cost of manufacturing in small quanitities likely make it uneconomical.
