oh shizz i just bought the Custom CAI from Canada that was posted b4 on ebay. If my tibby is A-spec I'm screwd huh? It doesn't look like I have a box under the battery. all I see it a lil black plastic box thing for the intake, that goes below the battery.... The rest seems like it's clear, but i can't find the box in the back either so I dunno what the hell mine is....

Oh damn i think it is rev A. the strut tops seem to look the same the one on the right when your facing the car has like a lil fluid container attached to it but overall they look identical. I think I see a black box now. It seems like the front part of the intake is mounted onto the black box thing. The black box thing seems to be stretching down pretty low and it's right next to and under the battery..... oh damn maybe i shouldn't have bought that canadian cold air intake. This is the intake I bought http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...bayphotohosting you think the Rev A can support that? What the hell does that black box do anyways?

Hey Koreanracer. Go to the DIY section and do the resonator removal. Top and bottom resonators. You should be able to tell then, and you'll need to do this for the CAI to go in anyways.

Also, please watch the double posting. If you need to add more and you were the last to post, click the EDIT button and add your new info.

If you go to HA.Com
Do a search for Evap canister and you'll find more info.

In the DIY section of the forum.

I did a painstakingly complete transition of it for us.

So THAT is the black box everyone is talking about. I can see where that could get in the way of a CAI.

according to hyundai's online parts' catalog, the canister was discontinued 8/16/1997

that is of course if the part # is 31240-29000
