Do you mean that your upper radiator hose touches your CAI? If that is the isue and your intake is PVC I would wrap it quick.

I just wrapped my CAI. today with my heat-wrap. I had to use zip ties, because it was a bitch to keep it from slipping.
Anyway, So I wrap the hell out of my CAI,a nd then I took it for a 30min hauling a** session. I parked it and touched the only metal part showing on my CAI(next to the air sensor) and it was still cold as hell.
Damn worth it! I recomend this mod to anyone! Just remember to use gloves, the wrap is made out of fiberglass!!!

I suggest a smaller diameter air filter. 2.75 or 2.5 should fit fine. If you really wanna stick with the 3" air filter opening, stop by your local muffler shop and ask them to make you a short 2.5" to 2.75" adapter, or contact www.thermalflex.com ask for doug scott. a 2.5" to 2.75" or 2.5" to 3" silocone adapter is available for under $20 in just about any color silocone.
