no seriously i did that!! hahaha but not in a bucket i couldnt fit a bucket in there. i put it in big zip lock bags and put them all around the filter area but i made sure i wasnt blocking off suction. next time i do it ill take a pic.

Another trick you can use is to "ice" down your intake manifold and fuel rail. It's a BITCH to get Ice in there and keep it there, but If you can cool off the IM and/or the fuel rail, it can make a difference.

I'm not making this up, I got the tip from a Engine builders handbook.
