Go to any local automotive store and get it there. I know for a fact that Pep Boys and Advanced Auto both carry it.

Thermotec sells it on their website, Nopi has it. Basically any speed shop or regular autoparts store.

www.thermotec.com

I get it from JC Whitney. It is $35 for a 2" wide 50' roll.

If you use their special paint, you maintain the heat resistant quality, and it lasts a lot longer. Unpainted the wrap can deterioate in as little as one year.

You should be able to paint it with any engine paint, and it should still be mostly effective.

I like leaving mine unpainted. When you soak the heatwrap with water, the cooling properties of Evaporiting water cool the intake air. In the desert of So Cal, it works for about 2 drag runs before you have to re-wet it again.

I've got another trick up my sleeve for the Drag Event In Carlsbad. If it works, it will SUPERCOOL the intake air charge below outside tempatures. I'll post my results /technique after the Carlsbad event.

hey random. when i dragged yesterday i packed ice all around my intake hahaha.
it works ok but melted in about 30 minutes.
i packed alot of it. and it seemed to work quite nicely. although if you have seen the way my filter is set up around my battery that is the perfect packing place for ice.
thanks guys smile.gif
