hey man its only gonna cost around a $100 to do the piping, just wait and do it all together. getting a 2.5" is not a good idea for u dude, because: ur not gonna get a turbo, its $3000 man lot of money and since ur not, u dont need it and u are gonna start off like a turtle. u want lowend torque and with a 2.5 ur gonna lose it. with a 2 1/4 ur gonna gain. when ur racing on the street and stuff like most others, u want to get off the line ass soon as possible just go with a 2.25 dude really. if they dont have a 2.25 on that site, i'll give u the number to the place i got it from, u might me able to order it from them. and once again do the whole thing at one time, i really dont know about tapering it, but i kno it'll cost less than tapering and then getting another pipe if tapering is even possible.
