I have been playing with an SFMU whic is a RRFPR. And I in my exp, you can lean it out, for the top. And ecu adjusts for the low end. But since, one modifications affects the whole rpm band. Its to general.

You need more fine tuning.

What you are forgetting is that, when you hold the throttle to the floor, the computer does not learn around it. This is the difference between OBD2 closed loop and open loop mode.

Closed loop mode is when you're tinkering around town, and the car is watching out for emissions as gas mileage. THIS is when the car is watching your O2 sensor and learning and adapting.

But when you stomp your foot on the floor, the car kicks into open loop mode. The car doesn't give a rat's ass about the O2 sensors, it instead just dumps fuel according to the mass and temperature of the incoming air versus what RPM you're at.

If you drop fuel pressure and floor it, the car will not monitor for correct mixture. Which means, at low RPM's, you are very likely to go lean -- VERY lean if you're unlucky.

Jon, you're gonna need an new FPR eventually anyways. Just get it. B&M makes one for relatively cheap. We talked about this before i thought.

I know, I already decided to get one, but I was just going to leave it at the stock psi. Then I thought about "what if I lower it for a SAFC alternative". I will eventually get it, but I won't need it till over 75 shot at least. I'll definately get the gauge now.
