FPR = cheap alternative to SAFC?
Since our cars run mostly rich through the band, could we get a cheap FPR and DECREASE the psi a bit to run a little leaner on a near stock engine?

Not necessarily dyno tune it, but check the o2 readings would suffice. If the stock psi is 44.3, then maybe dropping it to 41-42 would be enough to be on the safe side.

Nope, figured I would go to a local perf. shop and make friends. smile.gif

If you lower fuel pressure, it affects ALL RPM bands.
Since these cars only run rich on the top-end, by decreasing the pressure to make it OK at high RPM's would also make the car run catastrophically lean on low RPM's.

If something so simple would have given performance gains, Hyundai would have already done it.
I wouldn't look for cheap hp increase, because in reality, they don't exist.
