The header type (4-2-1 vs 4-1) doesn;t have as much to do with your tranny as it does with where you want the power. The 4-2-1 puts it throughout the band while the 4-1 is only low end. So the 4-2-1 would be good for a manual tranny if you plan on doing more than just dragging. Like autocross or any other type of non 1/4 mile type racing.

Ultratibby Ihave a auto and a 4-1 header. It gives the auto more umf at the higher rpm's as I imagine it would for the manual which is where you want it. If you want to I will even trade my 4-1 for your 4-2-1. Just let me know. I have noticed a difference with it.

4-1 gives you good top end and 4-2-1 gives you good mid range
and when you have manual tranny you usually stay in high rpms and you would need 4-1 header to have more power
4-2-1 would be good for auto-xing smile.gif
