Definitely sounds like an alternator with a bunch of bad grounds. I still say the coil pack is playing a role too.

Yeah im pretty sure its the alternator. Drove half a block and it died out and i had to push it back. What would you suggest? new alternator 174.99 or used alternator for $65?

Word dude. Just park it and leave it. Ask Tibbychick for a price on one of her alternators. I'm sure she's selling one. Charging the battery and driving it for a block is making it worse, and your probably going to kill another battery completely. Then your out another hundred bucks. Your probably frying fuses and everything else while your at it too. :roll:

Right now its parked there and i aint moving it. I really need to get my car running fast because school is gonna start this monday so im getting an alternator tomorrow. Either from kragen or JunkWArd. And i drove it today because there was street cleaning and i didnt want to get a ticket so i had to move it.

Alight, i hope finally everything is koo. I bought an 2000 Elantra Alternator and installed it through the rain. From 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock and a 30 minute storm break in between. To my belief, everything is running great. Thank you everybody for your inputs upon this topic. Thankyou
