Here's the cheapest NEW coil I could find, it is at JC Whitney

It is only $40. They usually sell for about $100 from the dealer and who knows on junkyard pieces. JC Whitney also sell other ones for about $60. If you could find 4, 6 or 8 cylinder setups from junkyards for cheap, it wouldn't be a bad deal though. If enough were found at one junkyard, someone could make a killing by picking them up and selling them here.

 

Sweetness, this interests me. 8O Maybe a spring project. Wonder if they make better aftermarket coils for those cars.

 

I am not sure but I think the accent 1.5lDOHC came with COP

Agreed, this does look interesting. 1 cylindar would go down because of a bad coil rather than 2 the way it's setup now.

I'm saying this because someone around here who swapped his X3 GT used the GT ignition on his beta...and he changed back because the result was not interesting.
