Clutch won't move

Yeah, I think the shop ripped you off of on that one. You could do your own clutchwork... its not too hard. I would compare it to changing out your intake manifold, just a little more time consuming. You'd save $300 or so in labor.

no i did the work it all broke trust me the pedal wouldnt budge and it was cause the linkage was twisted and broke. from the way it looked it messed everything up. i tried to start it aftrerwrds and i had to reach under the peddle with my lighter to catch the saftey. i also didnt put stock parts in i upgraded like i suggested to him

So yeah buddy.. buy a new clutch kit. Sell off speakers, amps,... whatever you can.

Take the clutch to a mechanic and your car. Tell them that either your pressure plate gave, or the snap clip, or maybe even the bearing.

Tell him you dont care.. and give him the clutch and ask him to replace anything.

Hopefully by telling him that, he might think you know a thing or two about cars and he will be less likely to rip you off...

As you can all tell.. im not found of mechanics. :rippedhan

Well depending on what broke i might just replace that(we have a parts car), or if its not too much then i might just go ahead and get a stage 2 clutch or something like that.

My dad is a mechanic, so i won't have too worry about getting ripped off.


**edit**Just picked it up and looked at it, it's the throw out bearing 02.gif. So i am just going too get a new clutch.
