yeah I just changed the plugs. I do that evry other month when I do my oil change. boch platinums...good plugs
but as for the misfiring...there is no check engine light at all...I don't get it.
I double checked all the wires and they are in the correct order. boch wires
I believe that the 1st o2 sensor is too far back so it can't get a good enough reading. can that happen!

nah.. I'm running my first O2 right before the 2nd catalytic converter, after the flexpipe. it's fine.
well, last time I had that problem with the car wanting to die, my spark plugs had water in the holes. I washed off my engine and the spark plug cover didn't do it's job. I pulled the plugs and let the cyl spit the water out, put the plug back in and then repeated 3 more times. Seriously, check your spark plugs and associated wiring.

i'll check anything at this point...but I doubt that's the problem.
how long was your car doing this before you realized what was wrong. so far its been almost three weeks. and it has gotten worse
and I know I keep saying this but the car only does this if its hot...never when it's cold

alright I am stuck in a walmart parking lot ... so I can't look at the plugs ... but ...
when I changed the plugs. the old plugs where really white in the center with blackish/browish crust that flaked off if you scratched around the head. . .
I will check the current plugs as soon as I get home.
as far as gap for the plugs the are Boch double platinum. they have two heads and you can't adjust the gap. they are preset and they say on the packaging DO N
