Default Re: what do you think about these?????

Search here for 1.8 cam and if you still have need for info, you could still search for the same at www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/old that forum was (is?) amazing. Many of the things that are newbe stuff here, were discussed there by the people who knew most when they were really new subjects. It's a great space to learn a lot, but don't get there and beleive anything you read there, unless it's written by Random, in that case you can beleive it.

Just for the record, THIS site is awesome! but I can't avoid feeling nostalgic about HA.com

Default Re: Eibach from ebay

Not to hijack, but if I were to get the AIRRAM and a BBTB, the AIRRAM is 68mm and the Beta 1 BBTB is adjustable up to 61mm, does that make a difference or should i try to find a 68mm to match the AIRRAM? or just go with the Beta 1 from kSpec. The reason I'm asking is I know if your TB is bigger than your IM than you will possibly have AIRFLOW issues, right? So would it be the same if your IM is bigger than your TB? I wouldn't think it would but I wanted to find out for sure before I go buying stuff.

No, someone in the UK did a dyno of the before and after of the air ram and there was a tremendous gain. However, im not sure what TB he had but it was probably 62mm at the largest. Anything bigger would be for turbo application only and he wasnt boosted.
